frequently asked questions

I haven't exercised in a long time, will I be able for this?

All exercises will be tailored to your current level. If you are a beginner or coming back from a long break, movements will meet you where you are at and safely progress you to a higher fitness level. 

Do I need a gym membership?

No. I’ve trained and coached others with zero equipment for a long time.  A gym and or equipment gives you more options but is not necessary. I will recommend some beneficial equipment options (rings, TRX, kettlebells) that are optional if you train from home.

 

How many times a week do I need to train?

This depends on your time available. Some clients do as little as 2x 15-30 minutes a week up to 6 x 60 minutes. The program will teach you how to fit in training year round despite what’s going on in your life. That’s the real power of the program.

 

What does the training look like?

This will depend on the equipment you have or don’t have to train with.  The program will teach you how to incorporate a movement practice that you look forward to every week, into your life.  This is not a cookie cutter or one size fits all approach.  This is not a quick fix, but is about investing in building a foundation for long term health.

Who isn't this program for?

If you are looking for a cheap general workout to ‘lose weight and tone up’ this isn’t for you. While those things often happen as a natural consequence of the training, it is not the focus. This program is entirely dedicated to busy people, who want to get strong, lean and pain-free. Without wasting hours working out each week. 

 

What are the next steps?

The first step is to book a free strategy call with me, get clear on your goals and if this sort of coaching will be a good for for you. Then we start the info-gathering / assessment phase. I will do a mobility screening & nutrition tracking with you to create your plan for the initial 4 weeks. From there, we adjust the programming depending on how you are responding each week.

 

Will I have to go on a diet?

No.  Lifestyle habits around nutrition will be shown and you will be coached to develop new habits around food, where it’s gauged that current ones are clearly not supporting your goals.

Will this guarantee my success?

We guarantee that you’ll have all of the resources and support you need to see the results that you are after. This will depend on your ability to implement instructions and to train hard. This program is exceptional and sustainable.  See the testimonials under the"About" tab.

What if I get injured or need to travel for work/holiday?

Helping you rehab injuries or overcome them are a big part of the program. We love to coordinate with your physio to ensure the quickest recovery. Oftentimes, the program is enough to assist injuries to settle and resolve. If you are on holiday or away for work we adjust the program so you can fit in what works for you whilst away. This teaches you how to maintain the habit of showing up regardless of what’s going on.
